First Responder Emergency Care - Recognition of Prior Learning (FREC 3 RPL)

A two-day qualification providing entry-level emergency care skills, for individuals with prior learning in pre-hospital emergency care.

This regulated and nationally recognised qualification is designed for those who are seeking work in higher risk environments, such as festivals, sporting and close protection.

It is also ideal for individuals, such as event medics, security staff, community first responders and private sectors. Prior learning should be evidence in the form of a certificate, such as Community First Responders (CFRs), FPOS (First Person on Scene) certificate holders, Firefighters, Coastguard, and other emergency services personnel. This list is not exhaustive, so if you hold prior learning and wish to undertake the RPL pathway, please enquire.

There is an oppurtunity for learners to undertake advanded skills, providing they can provide evidence of appropriate use of these. For example, a scope of practice from your employer. These skills are listed below.
