About A&S Medical Academy

A&S Medical Academy was founded with a simple mission: to raise the standard of pre-hospital education and empower individuals with the confidence, competence, and clinical understanding needed to make a real difference in emergency care. With backgrounds rooted in frontline ambulance operations, clinical practice, and professional training, we bring real-world experience into every course we deliver.

We believe high-quality medical education should be accessible, engaging, and delivered by people who genuinely care about developing others. Whether you're taking your first steps into First Aid or advancing your clinical skills within the pre-hospital environment, our goal is to support your journey with evidence-based teaching, practical scenarios, and a supportive learning atmosphere.

Connor Redman

I started my medical career in 2019, delivering medical cover at events across the UK. I have extensive frontline experience, including working for Devon and Cornwall Police before starting work with the ambulance service.

In 2024, Josh & I founded the company with a clear focus on delivering realistic, pressure-based medical training that reflects real-world practice.

Outside of the classroom, I am a family man, spending my free time with my finace and our son & our two dogs, Bella and Nina. I devote any remaining time to keeping my physical and emotional wellbeing in-check by doing Taekwondo with my family or enjoying the sun when summer rolls around, camping in our renovated van.

I have extensive experience working on the frontline across pre-hospital care, large-scale events and festivals, and within corporate and workplace environments. I’ve seen first-hand how critical good training is when things don’t go to plan.

My approach to training is practical, realistic, and engaging — focused on building genuine confidence rather than just ticking boxes. Every course is designed to reflect the situations people are most likely to face, whether that’s in the workplace, at an event, or in everyday life.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time in the gym, climbing, or running. I enjoy staying active and pushing myself physically, which mirrors my approach to medicine and training — preparation, resilience, and continuous improvement.
